Boredom

Image
We’re in a global health crisis right now. Good news: we don’t have to deal with face-to-face interactions with lecturers who are about as interesting as the gossip on Kim Kardashian’s latest fashion disaster. Bad news: they’ve brought their mesmerizing charisma over to the Web, where they continue to wow us with their phenomenal lessons about why we need to care about things in life. More precisely, things that we don’t care about or ever will care about anytime in the future. So here I am, stuck in my house, reading from a script for a video that I wish didn’t have to exist. I love the academic system, don’t you?

Food

Image
Food. It’s an essential part of human life. Problem is, variety is a little on the scarce side during a time where restrictions have been imposed on outside excursions. Not that I’ve ever been the adventurous type when it comes to food, but still. What was I talking about? Right, food variety. Lucky for me, my family has been rather… inventive with their meal planning. They realize that having the same old plates of Asian food day after day after day tends to lead to some boredom, so at least we’re covered on that front for sustenance. Not that my standards are very high, of course. Well, won’t you look at that: we’re outta time already. Be seein’ ya.

Welcome to my blog. I don't expect much from you coming here, to be frank. Here's a bunch of filler to make it seem like I put in a miniscule amount of effort into this thing: LINKS TO MY OTHER BLOGS: https://ajtbloguph.blogspot.com/2020/09/life-in-quarantine-part-1.html https://ajtbloguph.blogspot.com/2020/09/life-in-quarantine-2-quarantineering.html https://ajtbloguph.blogspot.com/2020/09/life-in-quarantine-3-papering.html https://ajtbloguph.blogspot.com/2020/09/life-in-quarantine-4-ending-for-now.html

Life In Quarantine 4: The Ending (for now)

Image
This is definitely my favorite blog post, and arguably the most emotional one I've made so far due to the immense amounts of sadness I'm feeling right now. It's been a wonderful journey, full of hard work and dedication. Posting these heartfelt blogs about the horrors of quarantine have really made me realize how much I missed going to an actual classroom to listen to an actual teacher drone on and on about how to make use of a skill I'll use precisely a single time in my life (that time being whenever the heck I'm instructed to utilize said skill, most likely by a flat-faced teacher as they hold a grading rubric in one hand and a writing utensil in the other). Man, it's been a hell of a ride. Sadly, all good things must come to an end sooner or later, and this is no exception. So long, loyal reader. I'll be counting the days. Pictured below: Me, feeling and looking impossibly saddened that this is going to be my last voluntary blog post this week. If you lo...

Life In Quarantine 3: The Papering

Image
Part 3 of extremely fun bloggering, yippee. let's get this shiz over with already. Tissues. Toilet paper. Those two things are interchangeable, right? Kind of? Ah, who cares, the readers of this blog probably don't give two figs one way or another. Heck, why am I even debating the grammatical viability of two words in the English language when the only person who's supposed to be reading this crap cares about nothing but generic travel and food pictures? But enough about identifying criteria that'll net me an easy A+, back to the topic at hand. Toilet paper/tissues. Essentially luxury products during this day and age, much like indulgences were back when the Church was only just realizing its full potential to shamelessly milk their fanbase into paying their way into the afterlife. Anyway, I'm sure you can do the research on the skyrocketing price of "hygienic" products during this socially-disadvantageous (or advantageous, depending on what kind of person...

Life In Quarantine 2: The Quarantineering

Image
Alrighty, extremely significant blog post number two of the day which I've got to complete within the next few hours before I get utterly screwed like a particularly popular courtesan at a red light district. Alright, for this awe-inspiring blog post, I shall talk about an essential part of every person's life: water. I remember back when I used to physically venture to school like a normal person, I lived in a dorm, where while there may have been a water dispenser right outside my dorm room, there wasn't a cup dispenser. Which is honestly reasonable, but it definitely taught me to clean my water bottle from time to time (as opposed to when I'm at home, where I more or less just put an exhausted water bottle on a nearby table and it magically gets cleaned hours later. No offense to the help, of course). Anyway, here's a image to remind you all to stay hydrated. Now scram.

Life In Quarantine, Part 1

Image
Hello everybody, it's ya boy Alexander Jason, back with another sweet blog post that I totally am not essentially being threatened to create thanks to the looming threat of failing my college IT class (have I ever mentioned how much I adore education?). Today's topic will be about life during the Coronavirus, because that topic definitely hasn't been done to death already over the course of the past several months. Let's see, I'm a recluse, so this Covid-19 thing is affecting my social life about as much as a thrown rock would affect the integrity of a tank's armor. Which is to say, none. Well, won't you look at that. I'm already past the minimal word count for this lovely post. Oh well, onto the next awesome assignment. Just to show you how happy I am to be working on this project, here is an image of me enjoying life and creating blog posts that serve no purpose other than to incentivize some lecturer to jot in some numbers on my report card. Anyway, t...

Introductions

Image
Hello. My name is Alexander Jason. Call me either one of those names for practicality's sake. I have a motto (one that applies to this blog series more than most): "the sooner, the better".  I guess you could even call it my tagline , heh heh. This is a blog that I swear I've made out of my own free will, and has nothing to do with getting a score in IT class. Over the course of this completely voluntarily made blog, I shall talk about my writing/gaming hobbies, talents in public speaking/general oratory proficiency, "activities" (whatever the hell that's supposed to mean) and achievements. Anyway, here's a picture I found on the Internet that I decided to post here for no related reason. That should be it for now. Good day to you all.
